The troutdog was created in Santa Cruz, California but has called Idaho home for many years. He’s currently a practicing RN at a local hospital. He spent most of his previous life as a software engineer. He’s been married to Mrs. Troutdog for over a quarter century.

Most days you’ll find the troutdog doing something outdoors. Mountain biking, skiing, fly fishing, running with the hound, white water rafting. He has every intention of writing an award winning novel and being a respected photographer, but hasn’t gotten around to it yet.
